Joseph Bartlett-Vanderpuye is a London-based British-Ghanaian actor whose work spans feature film, television and advertising.
His screen credits include MobLand, The Diamond Heist, Slow Horses, The Beekeeper 2, Silo, House of the Dragon, Citadel, The Gentlemen and The Running Man. He has also appeared in campaigns for Monzo, Lebara Mobile, Starbucks and American Express.
Before and alongside his acting work, Joseph recorded and performed as Smiler. After years as an independent artist, he signed with Warner Music and built a catalogue that includes UK chart entries, international touring and collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey. He has also shared the stage with Nas.
Joseph brings that experience of performance, storytelling and live audiences to his work on camera. He is available for film, television, commercial and voice work.
